Help Translating WWII sword signature.

Need Help with some characters in Mei. I can't read all of it. I think it is Noshu Kane Nao but need help on the two characters above and below the character JU. Any assistance would be appreciated. Getting better at this, but not an expert by any means!

Does anyone know any history on this Showa Era sword maker Kane Nao other than where he lived, don't see any info on him ?

this is from Markus´s book:

Kanenao (兼直), Shōwa (昭和, 1926-1989), Gifu – „Kanenao“ (兼直), civilian name „Ishihara Kanenao“ (石原金直), born May 25th 1908, he studied under Amachi Suzuichi (天地鈴市) and worked as guntō smith.

But yes..let's try and at least crop out huge backgrounds etc where possible. Everyone by now should have at least some form of image editor.
