Tsuka restoration

G'day all,

I have a late war showa-to that has the wrapping on the tsuka disintegrated due to old age. I would like to get it re-wrapped in the correct way and colour as it just annoys me to se it this way. Could anyone on this forum who has had this done with no dramas please send me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

Hey, Chad. I have a buddy that has used David for his re-wraps for sometime and said he was the go to guy for it. I have a tsuka in the mail to him right now for a re-wrap. I have seen his work on my buddy's pieces and looked very well done IMHO.

I too have had several tsuka rewrapped with new Ito and same' by David McDonald. The result, in all cases, was excellent. You won't be disappointed.
