stephan_hiller Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Hi, just wanted to share my experience with Eric Molinier from owazamono.com. It was a great transaction that went very smooth. Very good communication with prompt shipping. Sword was packed very carefully and arrived safely. His items are good quality with a lot of good pictures and exactly as described. I will definitely do business with him again as he is one of the 'good ones' Stephan Quote
Teimei Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Hi Stephan, i also had only very good experiences with eric. His descriptions and pictures are the best i´ve seen on e(-vil)bay so far. Quote
Marius Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I can confirm this. Eric is a very nice chap, the communication was great and the tsuba I have bought from him were shipped very quickly. His photographs leave nothing to be desired. Eric is one of the few exceptions on eBay - a serious and honest seller. Quote
Brian Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Glad to see this section being used as intended. Will give a good reference for those looking to deal with someone to be able to search this forum and get a customer opinion. We have already had some great reviews of some sellers. And some not-so-good. As for Eric, I haven't dealt with him, but think I did meet him in Vegas, and he came across as a professional who knew his field and was pleasant to chat with. Brian Quote
Curran Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 I talk with Eric now and then. Some people love him, one or two don't. He's always been very honest with me, and I've tried to be brutal honest with him. Almost 0% B-S when we talk. Rather refreshing in brutal discussion of aesthetics. He has a good eye for quality items. I think he recently sold one of ex-Jim Gilbert's Akasaka. A real beauty. Tadatora was my opinion. I'm full up with a good shodai, nidai, and sandai example. If I hadn't had one about on par, I probably would have been ringing him up for his. That one was a real temptation. Congrats to the new owner. Quote
Marius Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Yup, and he had two ex Jim Gilbert Kanayama. Real beauties. Not cheap, but real quality. Refreshing to see such items on eBay, instead of the usual crap. Quote
Kurikata Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 And in addition, he speaks FRENCH !!!!! A great dealer with high level tosogus and a perfect sense of service Quote
Jean Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Bruno, All Board members are speaking French (secret prerequisite for membership), but they are too shy to use/show it. :D 1 Quote
Gabriel L Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Ça suffit Jean, c'est un secret d'après tout! Quote
Frank Reile Posted February 2, 2014 Report Posted February 2, 2014 I have purchased a few items from Eric. I am very pleased with all of them. He does a great job with his photos. Frank R Quote
