just found this set, rare !! never seen before

Here is a Japanese manufactured sword and dagger, from which place or island I have no clue was told have been in family since 1944. Blade on tanto is real and sharp the sword is plated.

OK you military sword experts who carried this set??

Has the Suya (corrected) company stamp...I was thinking Thai too when I saw the elephants....

No the blade does not come out, but is naginata shape and a thin temper. Has anyone out there seen another one like this??

Yes, I have seen them before and they still make them in Thailand, dont know if they still use the pattern.
