Hi Donny,

the top pic is the date Koki 2 thousand 6 hundred and 2 years (1942)

And the lower pic is his name and title

Genbusai Shigefusa.

He was of Tokushima and made RJT military swords at Osaka. He was born Meiji 23 and died Sho 36.

He is named Kojima Kamio?. He studied under his father Kojima Kunitomo and Takeshita Kunihiro. Worked from

Taisho 10 til the end of the war. Re-entered swords Sho 29.

He is followed by later generations.

Hope this helps,

Dear Donny

The date kanji are

皇Ko

紀ki (Koki - from the foundation of the empire in 660BC)

二ni - 2

千sen - 1000

六roku - 6

百hyuku (100 I think)

二ni - 2 ( so 2602 years after 660 bc)

年nen - year (I think)

吉kichi

日nichi (Not sure of last two kanji)

I have a not for a shigefusa that worked in Tokushima for the Army Blade department

And a Genbusai (Kojima) Shigefusa that also signed Zuihu

Not sure if these are your smith or not

good luck on your research

later
