Well....I usually wait until a day before, but since we are starting early this year, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy Festive Season, and a wonderful upcoming year. A huge thanks go out to Jean and John, without whom I couldn't run this place. Then thanks to all those who give so freely of their time and efforts to make sure we have a reason for being here. Otherwise we would just be a forum of questions and no answers. I would love to name those who go out of their way..but I am sure to forget someone and that would be BAD....so a huge thanks to all of you. You know who you are :D

Lastly, to all the members and readers of the forum. We do this for you. So thanks for listening to us ramble and for being so patient.

A very happy year end and Festive Season to all.

Stephen, nothing to apologize about... after that picture I'm very much in the Christmas spirit! :Drooling:

All the best to everyone, it was a year full of great posts and conversations which I enjoyed following!

Hope your stockings are full, and some good memories are created with your loved ones. Already dreading the extra pounds that I'll put on!

A quick thank you to Brian, John, and Jean for all the effort they've dedicated.... I guess in a way you're Santa's little helpers

Today, it's Winter Solstice, a time for Stephen's celebration.

And then like Keyser Söze.....they were gone.

Thanks Stephen for the yearly brief glimpse of the Silicone Elevettes.

I'll be watching this time next year ;)

Cheers

Well, to those that see Christmas first (the Kiwis); merry Christmas… - and may the cheer roll on through to all the Aussies, (especially the Bombers supporters), then the South Africans (thanks especially to Brian), the Europeans, the POM's (don't mention the Ashes…!) and lastly the Canadians and Americans. Is Hawaii the last place to celebrate..?

Hope you all have a good time with your families and loved ones, and I also hope you are thinking of your (Nihonto) friends, that you cannot be with - as I am… Best wishes to all..

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your year be not only happy but also healthy and with new toys a plenty.

A big thank you to Brian, Jean and John for keeping this place a civilzed place for learning. Thank you to the newbies for asking questions and to the senior collectors for providing answers. A special thank you to our Japanese members who often provide translations for difficult mei. Without their help many of us would still be scratching our heads in confusion.

With the New Year draw approaching, please take the time to use the "PAYPAL DONATION" button at the top right of the page. Not only might you win a prize but you certainly will contribute to the successful operation of the best messageboard on the net (that I know of).

To all of you who do not celebrate this specific holiday, I wish that you share in the happiness of the season.
