Bernard Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Hi everybody, This little mumei tsuba (60cm X 55cm) looks nice, with the contrast of the yellow brass (much more visible in reality than on the photos) on the deep black, shiny iron. Any comment on it (school, age,...)? Regards. Bernard D Quote

kusunokimasahige Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Is the double sekigane often seen in tsuba ? Or is this a clear indication of a remounting some time i history ? KM Quote
Pete Klein Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Or is this a clear indication of a remounting some time in history ? It's either due to remounting (99% of the time) or a modern fake which has been made to look like an old tsuba with multiple sekigane. This is old. Quote
raven2 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Posted November 7, 2013 Not usually my style, but I like this one :D Quote
