I was hoping someone could help guide me with the translation of this tsuba. I think the upper left reads Mune, lower left saku, upper right maybe Ishi, and lower right maybe Zumi. I am unsure of where to start to read the mei. Thank you for your help and patience. Regards, John

John,

it would be easier for us to help if the photo was well focused (try it at a little angle to avoid reflections and with daylight) and NOT posted upside down.

The tsuba may be upside down but the Kanji aren't. But is this a real tsuba? Would a real tsuba shi ever do hitsu-ana that cut so far and unnecessarily into the seppa-dai? The metal looks dull and lifeless (may just be the picture), the nakago hitsu-ana looks to have been cut yesterday, the fine concentric rings on the plate look like they were produced on a metal lathe, and the carving of the tree cuts through the seppa-dai. Too many red flags not to question authenticity.
