Hi all

 

Looking at a Type 98 Gunto with a TAN (KITAU) stamp. So...hand forged (I do see clear hada) but oil quenched? I do not have photos of the blade yet.

 

Also, not much luck translating it yet. Need more practice :? . What do you guys think?

six 六 or seven 七...with the corrosion it is hard to say for sure but I think from what is visible of the top part, it looks more likely to be seven to me....
