I have been wondering about this also. I have sent several e-mails over the last few months without an answer. I know he closed down his Rakuten shop so it's possible he is no longer in business. I am unaware of any alternative so if you're looking for something you might want to see if it's available via Grey Doffin as the prices are certain to increase as availability dries up.

He is old and English isn't his strong suit......If you can cobble something together in Japanese, you might have a better chance of getting a reply....

That's a bad sign then......He was quite old when I was dealing with him regularly 10 or more years ago....for more than 25 years he has long been one of my most reliable sources for fairly priced sword books. Would be a big loss to not have him around. Let us know if you hear anything. I will ask some friends in Japan if they have heard anything as well....
