My thinking is this That triangle shape mekugi ana is very similar to Suhami-gata style. I would like to DETERMINE significance and age of style and where was started to be used in history. cabowen Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 My opinion is that the sword was remounted at least three times (different tsuba possibly, or different mounts entirely), or the person refitting wasn't very good at it and had to drill three times to get it right. Quote

vlado Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 Is it known what the significance of the symbol suhama is or it is only (insignificant event???) in natural appearance but is it or is meant to be big or smal in natural creation. If you watch the thing on the coast from standing point coud be small bu if you look from mt. fuji you also find natural creations in the form of suhama.
