takamatsu Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Hi guys, I just saw this this one and wondered, how you can cut off a sword this way? Or is it just broken? Have no ideas what power is needed to destroy a sword (even if it's a gunto). http://www.ebay.de/itm/130989422836?ssP ... 1423.l2648 Quote
Stephen Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 That's just plain sickening, looks cut Quote
Drago Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Isn't this done in accordance with Japanese sword laws? If people find a sword they do not wish to register or if a non-traditional sword is found they have to be destroyed, i.e. cut down to a certain blade length. I think that's what happened here. Quote
Kai-Gunto Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 It was for keeping a ww2 sword legal it in Japan after the war. Then it was not a weapon. Quote
Christophe Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 I comfirm, thiis blade had been cut in accordance with Japanese sword laws. We can found in Japan a lot of blades cut that way. Christophe Quote
