Sadahiro Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Okay, I been reading around about folks buying off Ebay and when I first became interested in purchasing a koto Japanese sword I figured that was the last place to go - owing to the fact that although I had the books - I assumed I knew only enough to be dangerous to myself and my wallet. I searched around and found Nihontocraft and with it a friend who took the time to actually pull my head outta my rear. Assuming I still know very little, was this not a better way to avoid getting took to the cleaners? And while I'm at it, was Nihontocraft a good place to actually purchase ones first koto sword from? Does Danny hang around here? Quote
Mark Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Danny has posted here, not sure how often to checks in. I have dealt with Danny for years, I have found him one of the best to deal with, descriptions are accurate and he has treated me well. If you do not like an item he has an inspection/return. Quote
Grey Doffin Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Danny is one of the good guys. Grey Quote

Travis Clarke Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 I just recently purchased a beautiful kinko Mino-Goto tsuba from Danny. Seems like a great guy and was a pleasure to deal with. Quote
Marius Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Mike, Danny is absolutely honest and upright, one of the top guys to buy from. He has a return policy and he will describe every sword very honestly down to the smallest details. A great guy to deal with. I have bought three swords from him and I was very happy with both the purchase and my customer experience. I will surely buy again and again from Danny. As to avoiding eBay, I must say I admire your common sense. You have done the right thing. Bravo! Quote
Sadahiro Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 Many thanks to all that have responded here, I too have nothing but the utmost respect for Danny and would not hesitate to deal with him again. I have 2 very fine nihontos thanks to his help with which I am very pleased and happy to own. Quote
