Wow Thierry, what a wonderful collection! It's also great to have the collection available and with you at all times - on your phone, ipad, whatever. How did you photograph them to have that nice off white background? Cheers, Bob

Dear Thierry.

Wow! They are gorgeous, I am sure that you enjoyed the process not to mention the results but thank you for sharing these, they are wonderful. Have you thought of publishing a catalogue, something like the Rosin collection one?

The copper tsuba, number 61/62, is that a three plate construction?

All the best.

Hi Roberts

the method for photography is described here http://www.rkgphotos.com/articles/ktk_p ... t_2012.pdf ( thanks Richards )

I use a good macro lens and natural light ( I just waited for a sunny day )

I also use a grey chart so it's easy to automatically correct colors

Hi Geraint

yes this modern made tsuba is a 3 plates construction

my next step is to organize these pictures and describe all these tsuba ( hard job but funny )

Lovely collection...I can remember quite a few of them from the forum and sellers here.

I see you have a real love of the tsuru theme :)

Good thing for everyone to catalog their collections like this. Not that I'll ever actually do it....I'm too lazy. But a good thing to do.
