wbt Posted June 8, 2013 Author Report Posted June 8, 2013 Sorry, don't know any French idioms, to carry on with. :? Yes that is why I ask. Very nice work, but couldn't find out anything about the artist. One of the many who lives in anonymity. thanks, Brent Quote
Pete Klein Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Brent -- glad I could help a bit. It's one of the realities of this field that we often simply don't know much about, or even 'anything' about the artist. Who was 'Nobuie'??? No one knows, but we experience the works. Perhaps that is enough. It is all too easy to get caught up in minutia and miss the beauty. Quote
wbt Posted June 8, 2013 Author Report Posted June 8, 2013 Me thinks - quality and beauty always transcend celebrity! With art in particular, if you don't like it, don't buy it. I will enjoy this piece and when I tire of it, someone else will. Regards, Brent Quote
Pete Klein Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 ...and when you do tire of it, search for that which you will not. Quote
wbt Posted June 9, 2013 Author Report Posted June 9, 2013 Depends on whether I am alive when I tire of it. Brent Quote
