gooIs this scabbard correct? I know the screw is not at the top. Is this one that would have been in a leather cover or just poor condition in general?

Thanks,

Brandon

it is a genuine scabbard, looks like it was repainted (very poorly) and is missing the fitting on the end of the scabbard. No way to know if it had a leather cover.

It looks like the alu type , they are rarer than the wood or steel one.

There dosnt have to be leather cover on this type , but there could be.

I think its impossible to find a real cover that fits.
