reeder Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 gooIs this scabbard correct? I know the screw is not at the top. Is this one that would have been in a leather cover or just poor condition in general? Thanks, Brandon Quote
Mark Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 it is a genuine scabbard, looks like it was repainted (very poorly) and is missing the fitting on the end of the scabbard. No way to know if it had a leather cover. Quote
reeder Posted April 23, 2013 Author Report Posted April 23, 2013 Thanks a ton, Mark! Thinking a leather cover is the way to go on this one in that case. Now just need to find one. -Brandon Quote
Kai-Gunto Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 It looks like the alu type , they are rarer than the wood or steel one. There dosnt have to be leather cover on this type , but there could be. I think its impossible to find a real cover that fits. Quote
Stu W Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Perhaps you can try a magnet on it and tell us the results. Regards, Stu Quote
