Mark Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 it is a genuine Japanese NCO sword. looks to be in decent condition Quote
reeder Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 And some more. Also included my Type 14 (that I finally got back after waiting for 7 months) even though this is a sword forum, umm Nihonto forum... -Brandon Quote
Stu W Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 From what I can see it appears to be a nice matching Type 95 piece by the Seki (hard to see that one stamp) Sword Co. for the Nagoya Arsenal under Kokura Administration. Nagoya blades, in case you are not aware, have the inverted serial number. Perhaps also with the earlier 11mm thick brass tsuba? The next brass version was pared down to 9mm. Regards, Stu Quote
reeder Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Posted April 14, 2013 Thanks, Stu. Tsuba is 9mm. -Brandon Quote
