仕入(れ)物 = SHIIREMONO = items in stock (i.e. "mass produced"), no matter when, where, or by whom produced.

 

Using 尻物 Shirimono, OTOH, makes one literally the butt of the joke. :roll:

Jacques, Kuchibeni 口紅 – also called Bateigata 馬蹄型 – generally refers to Sekigane 責金 / 関金 that were already installed by the Tsubakō; they are still Sekigane. There are three pages on this topic in Takeshi Wakayama’s “Tōsō Kodōgu Kōza”. Your statement is therefore on the same level as saying “no, it’s not a Nihontō, it’s a Katana” ….

Helpful link, Ford. The glutæus maximus actually helps to maintain the trunk in an erect posture. I couldn't imagine life without it.
