仕入(れ)物 = SHIIREMONO = items in stock (i.e. "mass produced"), no matter when, where, or by whom produced.

Using 尻物 Shirimono, OTOH, makes one literally the butt of the joke.

尻物 Ooooooh, that is so bad in so many ways! Bad, bad visuals. As penance no great lashings of Schlagsahne in the coffee tonight Guido. John

I didn't come up with it, go further back in this thread for the source.

Jacques, Kuchibeni 口紅 – also called Bateigata 馬蹄型 – generally refers to Sekigane 責金 / 関金 that were already installed by the Tsubakō; they are still Sekigane. There are three pages on this topic in Takeshi Wakayama’s “Tōsō Kodōgu Kōza”. Your statement is therefore on the same level as saying “no, it’s not a Nihontō, it’s a Katana” ….

Helpful link, Ford. The glutæus maximus actually helps to maintain the trunk in an erect posture. I couldn't imagine life without it.
