question on boshi term

Isn't sumi-koMori ? If yes, it's a kind of flaw.

is it considered a fatal flaw? I saw pics of the boshi, but see no flaw in in.

There still is the possibility my assumption of a different word is wrong.

Imagine a pin-head size mark on the boshi. I missed it at first. Looks like it may have been a bubble in the forging. Sorry no pic, for some reason I cannot copy and paste it.

Possibly carbon grain in the steel ?
