You are welcome...

By way, the tanto on the top of your web site was made by Miyaguchi Toshihiro, not Yasunori. It is quite rare as it was made just after sword making was allowed again in Japan after the war.

Thank you for correcting my mistake. It was his uncle.

Miyaguchi Toshihiro (Yasuhiro) was not related to either Kajiyama Yasunori (toku) or Kotani Yasunori. Kotani san was the nephew of Kakiyama Yasunori....

Chris,

Thank you for pointing that out. John slough book referenced Miyaguchi Toshihiro as Kajiyama Yasunori. I got the impression they are the same smith. Miyaguchi Toshihiro name was used as outside work from Yasukuni shrine.

One more question for you. Is Endo Mitsuoki and Shibata Ka same smith? I went through the search forum and someone mention it is the same smith. It is new to me.

Thanks,

Quang

Miyaguchi Yasuhiro used the mei Toshihiro before and after he worked at the Yasukuni Jinja. Kajiyama Yasunori is a different smith.

Endo Mitsuoki and Shibata Ka are different people.

Chris,

Sorry, my brain wasn't working late at night. You are correct. Yasuhiro and Yasutoku are two different smiths. Yasunori is nephew of Yasutoku. Somehow last night, I kept thinking Yasutoku was Yasuhiro until I got my morning coffee. lol.

Thank you for your help in the translation of Kanenobu and horimono and Kiyokane.

Best regards,

Quang
