Not sure if I want to laugh or cry, especially since he's a Canadian seller.

It appears he's also a polisher.... now I know where to go when I want some local polishing done!

"One appraiser said it was priceless..." - that's completely true...now!

Unbelievable!

He knows the terms "Tanto", "Kogatana" and "Saya" and talks about his collection of "Katana and Wakizashi" and still doesn't now, that polishing in this way means destroying the blade...

I just want to know what happens if he ever removes the kogatana a second time. Does it release a demon or something?

Removing a kozuka/kogatana isn't rocket science :rotfl:

The tanto is signed twice, the kogatana signed 4 times? Does each kanji consitute a separate signature? :dunno:

Man its been awhile since I saw a blade in such lousy condition after its been polished. Delamination, Kizu. This piece of junk has it all. It looks as if the hamon (or rather where the hamon should be) is about to part company with the rest of the blade.

So much for amatuer polishing. .

i would pay $19 for the steel also,I would fold it a few times and forge a smaller blade .I always wanted to try some tamahagane.
