fuchi mei confirmation

I agree Masayuki and the kanji you posted.

 

I found a couple of notes to Hamano school smiths that

were named Masayuki.

Not sure of what it is : hamano or anything else.

I do not believe this is Hamano school work and particularly not by Hamano Shozui. When you look at the masterworks of this school you will see a large predominance of anthropomorphic form and in soft metal base plate. This is an iron base, yes?? Either way the work belies the Hamano school. John

yes it is an iron fuchi.

I make some research in internet. As Masayuki is a big, I think it is a copy of his work. But I a have no idea of which school could have do it.
