The Mei on your sword was clearly carved by a drunk baboon who did not have a clue what he was doing.

 

I am very sorry, but that Mei is so obviously wrong I just cant take it serious.

 

I do not doubt that you feel you can distinguish fake from real, but I would advise you to check these pages

Please post photos of the blade as well as the koshirae, so we can see more, though I doubt you will get a different verdict.

To avoid any problem, taking into account this experience, if you ever want to buy a sword, I suggest you ask the Forum the basic question: genuine or fake before making any move :)
