Marius Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Mike, there is nothing to watch at the moment - I see the same tsuba unchanged for months. The wonderful Nobuie is in a friend's collections for years now and you have it still on hold. I would be very happy to see what is available, as I know you have only top quality stuff, but when exactly do I have to come back to your site to see something new? Why don't you announce something like "tsuba XYZ posted". Thanks :-) PS: and I am really waiting to see those tsuba. Quote
christianmalterre Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 i did notice same as Mariusz wrote here.... Christian Quote
Jean Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Mike did not say they were on his website. He told to watch the site over the next few weeks. Quote
Pete Klein Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 The wonderful Nobuie is in a friend's collections for years now and you have it still on hold. Mariusz -- perhaps I'm missing it but what are you referring to? Quote
John A Stuart Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Many, many sites are behind in time. Especially those whose owners have so many extra-curricular activities and sales are a side line. John Quote
Eric H Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 The wonderful Nobuie is in a friend's collections for years now and you have it still on hold. Mike Y. From your new acquisitions, several times announced, is nothing to see on your website. Why awake interest and then not deliver facts? Eric Quote
Pete Klein Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Gentlemen, there are several new items posted now. If you look at the intro page you'll see the posting dates. Also, please remember this is a national holiday here, Thanksgiving, and most are busy with family today. http://tetsugendo.com/ Quote
Brian Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Relax folks. I know you are all keen to see the new items, but give Mike a chance to list the new eye-candy Brian Quote
Marius Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Mariusz -- perhaps I'm missing it but what are you referring to? Pete, I see it now. Once I have accessed the gallery NOT from the main page but via Main page > menu > Fittings > tsuba I see all the new items. (edited after Cyrus's post) In any case - apologies, Mike. I see all this eye-candy now :-) And I will be watching the site using a browser after having cleared its cache. That should work. Quote
cccthoth Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 So if you go to Tetsugendo.com and look just under the Tetsugendo.com logo on the top left there is a MENU button. Click it and you will be able to access all our current inventory for sale. We list all the items that we put up on the front page as well but you need flash to see it. I may move it over to Facebook to dove tail everything. If you close your browsers and refresh you should see the new listings. Regards Cyrus Quote
cccthoth Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Note as there appears to be some confusion the Gallery is where we put on the OLD listings for reference. You have to click on the Menu buttons to see new items. Quote
raiden Posted November 24, 2012 Author Report Posted November 24, 2012 kamiyoshi school soon to be listed nbthk musashino, same design as in kamiyoshi design book. Quote
christianmalterre Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 Thank you Mike for posting those wonderful exemplaires! Wish i could afford(?) I once got an offer for one very similar(slightly younger-rather Aka.-direction,but very good Ditto)by Dieter... "This" is Tsuba collecting indeded! It definitely "does" good such to see such quality-Merci! Christian Quote
Pete Klein Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 Christian -- I couldn't agree with you more. Even if you can't afford some of these examples anyone who is truly interested in kodogu/tosogu must have higher end pieces to reference so they can train the eye to differentiate from the common. Quote
christianmalterre Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 Pete, speaking seriously-do we both have some discrepancy??? Do YOU can afford??? Christian Quote
