Hello,

 

last kanji of the first pic is "saku". So, the 2 other kanji are probably the name of the maker.

Second pic on the right is a date : 5th month of the 58th year of Showa (1984)

Thanks for the confirmation of the date and maker, kunitaro. And again Malcom, great link.

This will be a christmaspresent to my mother (I`m such a good son). She likes masks and this will be her first Noh. Nice to be able to tell her the story behind it.

I like the woodgrains and overall look of it.
