b.hennick Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 WOW! This is a great exhibit or armour that was recently shown in Paris. Now at the Museum of Civilization in Quebec City is a wonderful exhibit of armour. This exhibit runs until January 27 2013. It is well worth the trip. Quebec City itself is a very nice place to visit. Here is a link to my photos (no flash) of the exhibit. Many similar photos have been posted of the exhibit while in Paris. https://picasaweb.google.com/b.hennick/ ... lZ_UkNCpYA You might also be interested in my visit to Pierre Nadeau's forge and the Beliveau exhibit in Montreal. Thank you for making the exhibit visible to the rest of us, I still haven't had the time to make it down to Quebec City to see it, but after your feedback I'll be gassing up the car very soon! Take care! Quote
Grey Doffin Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 I believe this is the museum catalog for this display. http://www.amazon.com/Art-Armor-Samurai ... 0300176368 Grey Quote
b.hennick Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 It is, but there is also a catalogue produced by the Museum in Quebec. It was back ordered when I was there. The hardcover book is certanly worthwhile - a great buy for the photos and content. Quote

Iekatsu Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 For anyone interested in armour, the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection catalog is extremely good for the price. Quote
Surfson Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Thanks for posting Barry. Based on the last couple of shots, I don't think that any of it would fit you man! Quote
