A real Muramasa......for a change.

Just up on Andy Quirt's site; a Nidai Muramasa.

 

Seen it in person, and despite the tateware, it is a nice blade and a great example of the much talked about school and it's history. Should get the Shogun shakin' in his tabi. :-)

Mumei and tateware, the price is about right, surprisingly. If it had a mei that would have been a different story.

Why did it only receive 65 points? The tate ware and fukure dont look so bad. If I didn't have other commitments I'd probably have purchased this....
