Nihon-to timeline of eras & periods

This is a timeline I made for myself a while back as a visual comparison for the eras and periods in the history of the Nihon-to. I figured I'd post it in case anyone else would like to see how they overlap...

 

Unfortunatly, I had make it small to fit on the page, so it's a little difficult to read...

Adam, it probably makes more sense to just post a link with the larger - & quite useful - chart, rather than having to send it to everyone via PM.

Ken, that would be easier, but I don't have the full size version uploaded to the internet anywhere... it's just a file I made in Microsoft paint...

His timeline gave me the idea, but I expanded on it... if you notice on his, the periods are all the same, so it's not useful for a visual comparison between era and period...

 

I thought the way I did it would be an improvement. It definitely made it more useful for me...

For Ginza Choshuya, Gendaito begins in Taisho and is still valid nowadays in Heisei, Shinsakuto does not appear anywhere.
