  1. Hello Is anyone able to help me? I am sorry about the quality of the photos; I will try and get better ones next weekend if they can not be decyphered. I think the signature is Yoshihiro, or at least the bladesmith's name element is Yoshihiro. I have two photos of the signature as one is slightly better at the end. It was me that added the text "Bishu Yoshihiro" to show which part I am talking about. The date I have real problems with!! Thank you if you can help Pieter Japanese Wakizashi
  2. Hi Matt Superb, thank you for not just translating but going one beyond. Pieter Japanese Tanto
  3. First, thanks again for your confirmation and help (slight correction) before. Today I have taken delivery of a very fine (it seems) sho gunto with a very nice blade and a very poor mei. I think clearly it is No-Shu Seki Ju (blade maker) Saku Kore, am I right? The handwriting is appauling I think yes? OK, so I think I have all the dressing around the signature decoded, my eyes now rolling like the smilie you do not have. But can anyone please help me with the blade makers name ? (Plus confirm I got No-Shu Seki Ju and Saku Kore correct). I wonder if this blade maker was special as there is no seki / showa stamp. Thank you I hope in advance Pieter Japanese Katanas
  4. Hello People If you can help me that would be great. I hope I got this mei correct. I think it is Kunehiro. Am I right? Is there any information on this swordsmith? Is my $100 investment worth 1 million? Pieter Japanese WW2 Shin Gunto
