  1. Hello, i recommend "Samurai fiction" on DVD!!! Best regards Michael
  2. Chris, you can find a similar Tsuba in the book "Bushu Ito School" by Koju, Shigeru and Shigeo, page 85. There is a student of the mainline masters named Masahisa. But your Tsuba don´t reach his skill and is not close to his mei. Bushu is the goal. But what kind of Masahisa? If a Masayoshi you will find 2 big guys (4th master and his son), and some later in the mainline. And i think much much more far later.... .But here the same - work in the mainline masters is more skilled. Michael
  3. Hello Kelly, maybe i missed something in the past - i ask again: You offer a service in the other direction? By example - sending Tsuba from Europe to you to get papers from NBTHK? Best regards Michael

  12. Hello John, then it is right with the Gassan Tsuba. I´m not sure about it because two of this Gassan-like Kanji are inside the signature. But nobody can help with the other Mei??? Michael
  13. Hello at all, after few years reading here i need your help. In my near nobody can help me with this. First Tsuba is a Shibuichi piece with a big ShiShi on top. Some people tell me the signature is to read: Gasan Terutaka a maker from Mito in Hitachi, student of Omori school. Maybe right??? The other, more difficult, is a iron piece with a very good steel and cutting, a dragon in waves. There is a tiny Mei - some people say it can mean "Domo Hori" like respectfully careved..... Other people can not read it but say this Tsuba looks like Seriyuken Eiju made it because the dragons face look like its sometimes made? I hope somebody can help me an I look forward to your answers. Regards Michael
