    Hi again guys, i have posted this blade before but wondered if anyone could add anything else, i found out from the net that it is a U no Kubi Zukuri, known as Cormorant Neck, thats all i know as yet, so was hoping someone could fill in the rest, era made, would be a start , where they forged the same as nihonto? are they classed as such, Peter

  5. Hi Robert, thanks for your comments, there is a hamon but hard to get a good image , i looked through a few books and it seems like giant choji or billowing if this helps anyone, Peter
  6. hi Jason, No this one not from ebay, the wrap is brown and in bad need of repair, flaky to the touch,there is also a piece of faded paper in the kozuka pocket with a name, perhapes a previous owner and a date 6-11-32 Peter

Hello guys, i got another wakizashi today and wonder if i could ask again for some input on it, it is mumei it has the kashira missing, munuki are hare, and butterfly and flower the tsuba seems to have been painted and have dragon on both sides with a little gold coming through and seems to be signed, the tang has been shortened, badly, showing the inner metal, as for the blade, help needed to date, many thanks, Peter

  14. Thanks Mark, mine of being polished at min so dug these few out, the last 1 is just to show the slight curviture of the blade . Peter

  23. HI george i found out from the seller the small kanj says, ju = longevity sen = immortal to = sword, i liked yours better but a nice touch i think for the blade, Thanks again, Peter
