  18. Hi guys, i relayed your answers to the gent who bought the sword who i,ve just learned had the information given, except he is addiment it is older that suggested,he says the smith is this guy,,,and says it,s a tachi, so much for me doing a favour, Peter, Blade seven was a husky naginata-naoshi by Suetsugu from the Nanbokucho era (1333-1392), a period of great stress in Japan when there were two reigning dynasties at one time. The "southern" Emperor Godiago was eventually overwhelmed by the would be usurper Emperor Komyo who had allied himself with Ashikaga Takauji. The ensuing period of almost 60 years saw battles in and around Kyoto and other mountainous areas in central Honshu. While the tachi was still the primary weapon, many naginata were used. Numerous magnificent specimens remain unto this day, often in shortened "naginata-naoshi" form. #7: Suetsugu. Nanbokucho period:
  19. Hi Guys, frustrating isn,t it, had the same problems myself, got blocked from bidding on ,, a tassel, have bought blades from ebay most are on view on NMB and my continuing argument with ebay is how can i buy from 1 seller and not from another, but go round in circles with the same silly comments and excuses from the folks on chat to us page, the law says nihonto are not illegal if come with proof, of method of forging and or made before 1954, so what is ebays problem, Peter
