About Me
Hello, everyone!
I'm thrilled to join this forum and connect with others who share my love for fine antiques, especially Japanese craftsmanship. My journey into collecting began with knives and evolved into acquiring my first late Edo Tanto from Jumyo—a ceremonial Ken Tanto adorned with Sanskrit inscriptions.
Since then, my collection has grown to include two more blades: a 1935 (Showa period) piece by Kasama Shigetsugu, inspired by the works of Kanemitsu, and a 1985 Gendai Nihonto by Enju Nobutsugu, which beautifully emulates the Minamoto Kiyomaro style with an O-Kissaki.
This art form has become my greatest passion, and I’m eager to learn more, deepen my understanding, and connect with others who appreciate the beauty and history behind these incredible blades.
Thank you, and I look forward to engaging with this community!
