I don’t think 3500 USD can buy a tamahagane one. At least 7000 USD for decent one. 3500 is for the imitate one which is not tamahagane.

We all know so called “ scientist “ has high ignorance and always in denial. If it doesn’t fit his study he won’t accept it.

Some of them are actual dealer as well. So not all bad. I bought 2 from yahoo auction. One with old green paper and other one with current NBTHK paper. The Sukesada with current paper is a big win. My broker even wants to buy the blade off me. So not all bad, maybe go with the one that has paper just to be safe.

The registration is 1950s , the kicho is 1975. Seem fine. Not a big name too. I let the pros here check out the Mei.
