  1. Thanks @Bruce Pennington much appreciate the steer. I will drop a note to @Ray Singer as well, to get his guidance on my project
  2. Thanks LP, for the recommendation. I could try that as well. But was hoping to get some leads on dealers who probably hold on and resell or accept consignment.
  3. Dear Nihonto experts and fans , Hope you are all keeping well. I have been a long-time follower(lurker) of the forum. I am emailing from Malaysia regarding three katanas that are currently in my possession. I had purchased three katanas from AOI Art Japan in 2021, which were shipped to me in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia via UPS as I had cleared the local custom import process. Currently, I am in the process of returning back to my home country as my employment contract with the Malaysian firm I work for is expiring next year. While researching the import/export process for collectible weapons, I was informed that katanas come under the prohibited category and would need the local police approval prior to getting ministerial authorization. As such I am in a bit of a dilemma on how I can proceed with engaging an antiques dealer or an auction house who could assist with a consignment sale etc for the katanas. I was hoping you would be kind enough to offer some advice and guidance considering your deep expertise of the subject. I appreciate that you are busy and occupied with several endeavors. Your guidance or any recommend contacts would be most helpful and appreciated.
