  1. I guess you live and learn right. Thanks again for valuable tips and helpful insights. Any tips to trusted resellers and and websites who sell authentic nihontos? I live in Norway so any European outlets would be good?
  2. Thank you for your replies. As a newbie I would like to know how to spot fake from real nihonto. In this specific case is it because of the kanji or lack of yokote line on the kissaki?
  3. Hi there! I recently purchased a katana with parts that contain shunga motif. It seems like the parts are a copy, but upon removing the tang the kanji seem to indicate that this blade was made made in 1944 « showa 19 by a smith called Kojima Kazaharu or Kojima Kazuji. Got this translation from Chat Gtp. Can anyone help me with the translation and verify that this is indeed a blade from a gunto or if it a replica of some sort?! Many thanks! Regards Ryan
