Is this a Military sword of Japan or a Frankenstein Sword?
Kantaro replied to Kantaro's topic in Military Swords of Japan
"Japanese sword, military sword, unique command sword, command sword, legal, iron sheath, army, parts, military, brass handle, dragon and tiger length 76 cm, curvature 0.5 cm, total length 93 cm. Since it is a command sword, it does not have a blade or be tempered, the plating has not peeled off, there are scratches, wear and fading, it makes a sound when shaken" I do wonder what sound it makes when shaken? -

The top of this lamp has a Gorinto 古刀匠 design and is representing the five elements and makes me think of other Tsuba. Markus Sesko wrote:"a gorintō on a tsuba is associated with death. Imagine a medieval knight having his armor decorated with gravestones." Early sukashi motifs 1 | Markus Sesko

Seems as that tsuba was used on a door as a key-hole cover or something similar?
