Howdie Folks.. I just returned to the Lone Star state from Orlando's Nihonto show, which included NTHK Shinsa & other topics + demos. Loong time ago when I came to Houston, I'd heard of a show at IAH's Marriott hotel but didn't go and then the next year it was no more.. Looking through NMB lately,I saw a few posts of locals asking whether there was an active group and the answer was none. Now I know there are "Old-timers" with large collections in the area, but for noobies it's difficult to learn more without the needed knowledge transfer through exposure to multiple blades.. THE QUESTION is whether there is a need for this kind of Afficionado meet in Houston!? IF THERE IS,pls chime in as there is an OPPORTUNITY that this Friday one of the collectors with the largest setup at the show may pass through Houston on his way back home.. This is very short notice but would be a GREAT opportunity to see (or purchase) some quality swords (5 full tables+) together, with indepth explanation! SO:If there is enough interest LMK,as there will still need to be appropriate space found... Thank you, Johnny
