I'll have to send more pictures later today but yes it has a wooden sheath and handle, but no wrapping and the pin to hold the handle either got lost a long time ago and is held on with a piece of rope tied through it.

Would this sword have any kind of value?

I have inherited a sword that my grandfather decided to bring home from ww2. It is definitely hand made and has a clear hamon line. I'm curious to see what era it was from, any information would be great, thanks.
