  1. The blade is in older polish and I’m having difficulty identifying the boshi. I tried to take with direct sunlight but it was challenging.
  2. Thank you Steve. What makes you think it may be fake? Are there any other pictures I can provide?
  3. According to ChatGPT it says Mitsunaga saku on the left and Goshu on the right but I’ve had bad translations in the past. Can anyone please assist?
  4. Here is an example with no kiku mon. The boshi is also hakikake? https://www.christie...m/en/lot/lot-4376998
  5. Thank you for looking. When you say it doesn’t convince you much, do you mean it’s hard to tell which Gen or that you have doubts the mei is legitimate?
  6. Hi Everyone, I have some photos of a katana that was forged by Iga No Kami Kinmichi. From what I can tell, there were 10 generations of smiths that used this name. Is there any way to tell which one may have made this sword? I've attached some photos and here are some dimensions I also have: Nagasa : 648mm (25.51 in.) Sori : 10mm (0.39 in.) Total length : 965mm (37.99 in.) Motohaba : 26.6mm (1.05 in.) Sakihaba : 16mm (0.63 in.) Motokasane : 7.2mm (0.28 in.) Sakikasane : 4.3mm (0.17 in.) Blade Weight : 571g Total Weight : 1051g
