Hello everyone I am looking to buy a hozon or tokubetsu hozon katana with the price range between 3000-5000 pounds. If possible I would prefer it to have a shirasaya and koshirae but I understand that may be a big ask for the price range so if anyone has koshirae would be fine. I would hope for the nagasa to be something between 67-72cm and the Sori to be something between 1-2 cm. No other request and I am very open minded. Hello everyone i was wondering does anyone has any suggestions for shirasaya makers in the UK because I don’t really want to send my sword out of the country because of our weird laws. I see people recommending someone called Mike Hickman Smith and I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with him, pictures would be greatly appreciated. I also seem to be having a hard time contacting him so does anyone have any contact details? Bill

Hello everyone i just wanted to ask if anyone knows any Tsuka and saya makers that are in the UK as I want a custom set of koshirae for a new nihonto that I bought which only has a shirasaya. if they are not located in the UK it’s fine, it’s just that I might be difficult to ship a sword out of borders due to our laws and I don’t really want customs searching my blade for safety purposes.
