Posted this sword earlier , saw it on a website few days ago , interesting saya covering , under the leather is green fabric ! how common is it ? also the blade is 19,5 inch and the saya is 25 inch, website said blade looks made traditionally way, can be a older made ? or made arround ww2 ? interesting one , what do you think of all this ?

Hi All ! just have question about ww2 gunto swords, met several times that the sword itself was much smaller than the saya, for example 19 *inch nagasa in a much longer saya, what was the reason? , keep a wakizashi size blade in a big katana size saya ? all of this blades was family blades? cause arsenal blades was "normal" sizes

  15. Hi All! Yesterday finally i was able to spend more time to remove tsuka from my "freshly" arrived Wakizashi tsuka is stuck on nakago , but with little force finally came off and find a lot rust and its cover mei, how can i clean it ? also i would like to identify after Thank You
