  1. Apologies. I got home late and it's dark again. It's really fall season.
  2. Yes. I will post closer photos tomorrow. My camera can't focus with the current lighting.
  3. The sword somehow came into my possession. See below information given by the seller. Extra foto's added later, including back of the tang. Is this blade traditionally made? The lightning is not really good to capture the hamon. I should make a picture in broad daylight.
  4. Hello, I have more information and questions for this sword. Is it ok to post here or should I open a new topic? Kind regards,
  5. Hello Dan, thank you for welcoming me and giving great tips. I cleaned it on my own initiative. Removing rust without scratching is easy with Autosol in my experience. Edit: Autosol will also remove some patina
  6. Yes, with Autosol. The tsuba was rusted.
  7. Thank you for your concern, but please do not worry. I will follow your steps .
  8. With plain simple decorations
  9. Hello All, Please see pictured tsuba. Has anyone seen a similar tsuba before? Is this even an antique Japanese tsuba? Kind regards,
