    Hello all, my father in law gave me a Tanto and was after some information on its history and age. It was found behind a wall in the 60’s or 70’s during renovations and given to my father in law in the early 80’s. Would like to find out about it before I decide how to proceed in cleaning it up. The writing on the tang is a bit hard to see and will give it a light rub latter to see if it will stand out a bit better. Hopefully someone here can help. Thanks.
