War Time

I just picked up a set of nine spoons and a Japanese sword that were brought back from Japan during World War II, but the signature of the silversmith looks to be chinese. Any help with translation would be helpful. The sword is an unsigned Katana in WW2 army mounting. Thank you so much.

greetings I just picked up this sword and I noticed it had the star stamp along with an arsenal mark on the other side and I do see writing on both sides. I hope that some of you can translate this. Thank you so much for your assistance.

Greetings, Looking for translation on this sword. There are file marks on the tang. I see there are characters above the hole on the tang. The groove stops 3/4 along side the markings. I usually see markings begin below the hole. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I need help to translate this. Not sure if one side is date kei-o. (1865 -1868) plus other kanji. Not sure of the other side. i don’t see a province and I can not translate the swordsmith. This is my first post. i hope the photos show up. Thanks
