Hello everyone, this is my first post (hopefully of many!) as I have just recently got into Japanese swords. I have collected military surplus for years, but a recent run-in with a friend’s Type 95 made me realize what I’ve been missing out on. Since then, I’ve been on the lookout for one of my own. This Type 95 has come up for sale and I’m interested in it, but my only knowledge comes from what little I’ve read and watched, and I want to be positive it’s a legit example before purchasing it. It looks like a mid-production sword to me, but I was hoping the experts here could determine that. Thanks so much for your help in advance!
