Grate line up you have there steve 🤩 The reason why I asked on the sword was the mouth of the scabbard had straight sides and the menuki details are debossed were yours all embossed am I correct about this?

The blade is quite chewed up unfortunately. what would you say a guide value is as I’m not really sure what it is a type 98?

Hello Bruce, The saya is metal with a leather cover as for the blade I’m not sure, I will attach some photos. Any information you can give I would be grateful. It’s very beaten up unfortunately. Hello vajo, I will need to get aphoto of them separated other than the photo I will attach showing them off the blade.

Hello everyone, I have some more photos of the mark/stain in question. As you all know its so very difficult to photograph the blade but practice makes perfect :lol: The mark i am talking about is the dark stain in the middle of the blade on the first photo, and the light stain on the 2nd 3th photos is very difficult to see on the last two photos.
