Thank you for the help Some one replay in another translation here in the forum in the pass His mei is "TOTO JU USHOSHIN"...an example is given in Rich Stein's Showa oshigata database under Ushoshin and also an alternative reading of Useishin. He is listed in the "Special Ranks...Betseki" as Yanagawa Ushoshin (Tokyo) in the 1943 Showa Swordsmith List (Nihon Token Tanrenjo). Hope this helps. George.

  8. Recent I pick up this earlier custom order sword and there is a missing button on the lock mechanism I see this very heavy and fat Tsuba before on a type 94 sword and I remember see a cherry flower as press button to release the sword is this flower what I missing here ?

Hi probably some explain this over the time i start interesting in military mount and I have some different types but I noticed that type 94 rarely see for sale and hard to find I know the most easy way to identifying is the second ashi but in some case one has Ben lost or removed I will like to learn what other part are different from the type 98 I have this example that maybe is a type 94?
