  1. Thanks Steve, I believe you are absolutely right in that the work put into the piece is more deserving of appreciation rather than the period it was made in. I am also thinking it is more of Japanese origin but yeah, who really knows. Anyways, thank you for the replies.

  4. I recently purchased a Tsuba with tokubetsu kicho papers. The papers state it has a nanban style which is very apparent. I was wondering if the Tsuba was made with the nanban style in Japan or if it was foreign made to begin with. Any help is very appreciated.
