  10. Thank you virtually every sword that I've posted here except this one is part of my collection. .. . .Fakes get returned. I have had 2 fakes and they went back home.. in the future I may post questionable ones prior to acquiring them as a method to avoid getting stuck with one thanks again

  15. Brian What i think I'm looking at is the leather retention assembly to secure the Saya and the Tsuka together while wearing. The Saya leather cover has shrunk irrevocably, typical when not properly maintained, and the leather retention strap pulled apart with a distance commensurate with the shrinkage of the Saya leather cover. Looking to replace the leather snap assembly if you know a good source. I'm tempted just to patch it. . . . . Thank you as always. Let me know if i missed the mark VR Ed
  16. i think that the unusually big SEKI stamp is because i zoomed in on it also thank you for helping with the determination between traditional and machine made. i can include more pictures if necessary
  17. Translation assistance. Thank you .looking forward to the next show similar to Vegas. Do you think there will be any Nihonto Swords at the West Coast Historical Militaria Collectors Pomona show mid April?
  18. additional pics. . .. .not the best of the blade
  19. Yes it is. I have too many type 97 and type 98 non traditional swords and am looking to upgrade my collection. Older swords in military configuration are ok with me Thanks 😊 again VR Ed
